Your Flat Stanley came all the way to my hometown Guangzhou, China.

While he was here, these are some of the exciting things he saw and did:
Stanley visited me during the Lunar New Year celebrations.  He was surprised to see the peach blossoms.
 
Peach blossoms for the Lunar New Year are like hollies for Christmas.  People believe the peach blossom will bring good luck this year  The bigger peach blossom, the greater luck you will get.
  
This is the Chinese gift bag.   We gave this bag only during Lunar New Year celebrations.   In these gift bags kids will find nuts, traditional Chinese candy or gift money.
 
To celebrate the Lunar New year, people visit friends and relatives.   Young unmarried people get lucky money from their elders (and the married).  Of course, Stanley get some lucky money from my grandma.

The distance between (Oklahoma City) and my hometown Guangzhou is approximately 7967 miles.

If FLAT STANLEY come back to visit, he should wear down coat and cotton wadded trousers, because it’s rainy and cold here, and the temperature is usually below 10℃

Some other interesting facts about my city/village include:

• The 2010 Asia Games was held in Guangzhou.
• Cantonese food tastes good!!!
• On weekends, many people go to tea house to enjoy a relaxing morning drinking Chinese tea and having a variety of dim sum.
